The book seems highlyrushed. It has many mistakes, particularly in the answers/explanations. It is extremely comprehensive, but a little editing goes a long way-- particularly in making a company more reliable. Some mistakes can call into question the integrity of the entire book. However, I will say, for 37$, 2000 questions is very fair, and if you are weak in any particular section and require extra practice, then it is worth (especially if you're low on MCAT funds). The book does seem to cover all of the potential topic (perhaps to the point where it covers extraneous info-- but sometimes more is actually better). All in all, its OKAY, if you need practice in certain areas, and want tons of decent problems. Seriously-- to the editor, a little goes a long way.

Ultimately, this is a good book. It covers a lot and provides useful application for the concepts one needs to know for the MCAT. Additionally, this book gives thorough explanations for most questions, and usually goes over why the right answer is correct and the wrong answers incorrect.This book, however, is not without some flaws (i.e., some answer choices are incorrect despite what the "Answers" section says), so I had to critically assess nearly every answer explanation simply to be safe. If you engage in a thorough review of MCAT concepts prior to using this book, you may find yourself confused if some of the answers or explanations are incorrect, or if there is a typo here and there on units (e.g., answer choices expressed in in^3 when they were meant to be expressed in m^3, or "mg" is written where "mol" is meant). I would give this a three-star review, but ironically, because some answers and units were wrong, to name only a couple things, I found myself thinking critically through my entire review of this book, which is a necessary skill given you will have to evaluate all information you're given on the MCAT and beyond.

Only gave this one less star because the chemistry section is labeled as physiology instead! I thought I was missing a whole part of the book!

Book contains many errors in answers/explanations, especially in the gen chem section. Which is not good for someone who actually needs the help in getting to the correct answer. Makes me question the worth of all next step products.

I like the questions, I read them when am tired of reading and doing passages. Also I think this question book will be most helpful as a pre-MCAT review material. Something to study before you really start studying for the MCAT.

The questions seemed great at first but as everyone else has said, there are typos and mistakes throughout. My biggest complaint is that I have over 40 pages missing from my book. Page numbers jumped and then the same group of pages was duplicated. I haven't seen any other complaints similar so maybe I just got a faulty book?

I am utilizing this book as an addition to my MCAT Prep for additional questions and I love Next Step. I also use their Chemistry and Physics timed question review as well and the questions are very helpful.

Great book. My one complaint is the book starts with 1965 and ends in 1990. I know there was no R&B chart in Billboard magazine in 1964, but R&B chart in Billboard goes back to 1940. You could use Cashbox charts for the missing year - Joel Whitburn does in record research books. This book is screaming for a second edition that stretches back and brings us up to date.

A good read - lots of detail.

Brave enough to explore unknown area of history with vast knowledge based upon extensive research and imaginative analysis. Hyksos invasion to Crete is an intriguing argument, but it somehow contradicts history as Egyptians treated Crete people as if the most favored people. Egyptians in the Middle Kingdom hated Hyksos, invaders, and wiped out their historical records. Another thing I question is his statement that Egyptians were seagoing people. They did not have trees to make ocean crossing ships. Phoenicians sold trees grown in Lebanon mountain to Egyptians for centuries. However, it is not deniable that archaeological evidences in Crete show both Egyptian and, perhaps, Phoenician influences. This is the mystery.

Good for it's research. Could have been written in a better format. Dull as a door nail, but worth the reference.

The measly group of recipes that came with my air fryer are worthless, as are the pre-set temp/times. I needed something to get me going and to give me some examples and basics. This book worked for me. And as I gain experience with my new air fryer, I do go back and reference many of the recipes in it.I don't necessarily use the recipes as is. But I do take times and temperatures and use them for my own purposes. The tips included in this book are really helpful, too.

I got this book as soon as I'd opened my new air fryer. The manual that came with the fryer included no recipes whatsoever. I chose this book because it includes lots of pictures, nutritional facts and a glossary (hyperlinked feature helps for easily locating the recipes) - and this is in addition to the clear step by step instructions. So happy I got this book!

Lots of good looking recipes and it has a good variety of snacks to desserts. I really loved the fact that Nutritional Facts were available for pretty much all of the recipes - it even gives you a scorecard that summaries all the nutritional facts in the book. Really helpful. Thanks Barbara.
